Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) is commonly used to address distorted thinking patterns and unhealthy behaviors. Support from family and friends is crucial in recovery, as eating disorders can be isolating and emotionally draining.

By fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment, society can help individuals struggling with these challenging conditions find the help they need and improve their quality of life.
